食レポ~Food Review
さてさて、お待ちかねの食レポです！
Now, here’s the food review you’ve been waiting for!
まず箱の造りから。
First, the construction of the box.
箱の底には、可愛いらしいイラストが！
There is a cute illustration on the bottom of the box!
「あけくち」は箱の側面にあり、左から右へペリペリとはがします。
The “akekuchi” is on the side of the box and can be peeled off from left to right.
ここで、素敵な仕掛けが！「あけくち」のペリペリとはがした紙の裏側に「45周年 ありがとう」というメッセージが隠されています！
Here’s a cool trick! When you peel off the paper from “Akekuchi”, you’ll find a hidden message on the back that reads “Thank you for 45 years!”
先ほどはがした場所の真ん中から上に持ち上げると、箱が開きます！
Lift up from the center of the area you just peeled off and the box will open!
オープン作業はまだ終わりません！今度は→が描かれている通り、中のビニールのつまみをつかんで、上の方向に開いて、やっと「パイの実」とご対面です！
The opening process isn’t finished yet! Now, as shown by the arrow, grab the plastic tab inside and open it upwards to finally see the Pie no Mi!
実物の大きさは、パッケージと比べると、少し小さいかな？というくらいで、ほぼほぼ同じくらいです。
The actual size is a little smaller than the package, but it’s almost the same size.
見た目は2つのパイシートの間にチョコレートがサンドされているようです。
It looks like chocolate sandwiched between two pastry sheets.
断面はこんな感じ！夏で暑かったから冷蔵庫にいれていたので、パッケージと違ってチョコレートがしっかり固まっています！
Here’s what the cross section looks like! It was hot in the summer so I put it in the fridge, so the chocolate has hardened quite a bit, unlike what you see in the package!
そして「パイの実」底をみると、チョコレートが注入された形跡が！私の推理では2枚のパイシートが重ねられた下からチョコレートを注入して造られていると推測します。
And when you look at the bottom of the Pie no Mi, you can see evidence of chocolate being poured in! My theory is that it was made by pouring chocolate into the bottom of the two layers of pie dough.
それにしても、上までチョコレートが貫通しないで、ちょうど真ん中あたりにあるのは、すごい技術だな…
Even so, it’s impressive how the chocolate doesn’t go all the way through to the top, but stays right in the middle…
みなさんに断面を見せしたくて半分かじってみたけれど、パイがサクサクすぎて下にぽろぽろ落ちるので、ちょうど一口サイズということもあり、一口で食べることをおすすめします！
I wanted to show everyone the cross-section so I took a bite of half of it, but the pie was so crispy that it kept falling apart, so I recommend eating it in one bite as it’s just the right size!
ちなみに商品ページには「64層のサックサクパイ」とあるので、かじったときにパイが崩れるのは納得です！
By the way, the product page describes it as a “crispy pie with 64 layers,” so it makes sense that the pie would crumble when you bite into it!
